So, tomorrow is the 6th of January and so the decorations have to come down or, according to supersition, you will have bad luck all year. So, I have been mucking about with my camera again and have been taking picies of the tree.

First of all, I became a little obessed with this bauble:

Then came a series I like to call, bad 70's christmas card...

Thai was helping by napping in a tangle...

And JJ was helping by napping on the sofa, though I also managed to catch him in a rare moment of awakeness...

New Years Resolutions

This year I have a number of resolutions, which would more accurately be termed aims really as they don't necessarily require daily dedication but a long-term gentle push:

1. Loose weight, by watching what I eat and being more active
2. Spend at least 1/2 hour a day on general housework (tidying up etc)
3. Be nicer to JJ (unless he pauses programs in order to explain something like the principle of the combustion engine which he knows full well I understand better than him!)
4. Once a month complete at least one DIY project to improve the house ready for sale
5. At least once a week check the martin lewis forums for vouchers/deals to try to save money
6. Continue to keep a check on our finances, paying off the last of our debts and reducing our mortgage as much as possible before the move
7. Organise the company finances better

...and finally...

8. poke JJ with a stick as regularly as possible.
