Foxy!

JJ just said to me "is that a fox on Charles roof?". I foolishly poo-pooed the suggestion until I realised that it was indeed an young, adolescent at a guess fox, sat on top of Charles shed roof, about 4 foot from our lounge window. We stood and watched him for a bit until I resolved I would sneak away to get my camera, started to move and he calmly hopped down on the opposite side of the shed. It was truely a captivating moment.

More wierd dreams

OK - two werid dream recently that were REALLY vivid so though I would pop them down, mostly because, unlike normal, I can actually pin point where a lot of the elements from it came from.

Night before last : On a motorbike (which is frankly laughable) being chased through canyons in a desert and in the cornor of my vision I can see an arial view with red and blue dots of whoever is chasing me zeroing in on me and I was heading to a house symbol. I finally reached a wall across the canyon with a door in it so dashed through and slammed the door, locking it behind me. Peter Petrelli ran towards me from a building and Thai was with him. I explain what is happening and he says that the wall won't hold the motorbike gang for long and when they get through they will tie us up and drag us behind their bikes until we reach the town several days drive away. He says that he has a plan to defeat them and produces a giant surfboard which we tie desk chairs to and then tie ourselves into the chairs. I then call Thai and sit her on my lap (not a lot of persuasion needed there then) and the gang charges through the door and ties the surf board to the back of a bike and hauls us off at terrifying speed back through the canyons. The gang members keep riding round us, shouting and menacing but then one throws a ball and Thai dashes after it at speed. She then runs alongside the board but when she tries to get back on a gang member always gets between her and us. They start hitting her and shouting at her but she carries on running along beside us. A LONG time later we get to the town and the throw us in a jail. They kick Thai around and leave her outside but she stays outside the window of the jail. She is immaciated, dirty and injured, with bleeding paws so I poured the little water and the bread that they gave us out of the window for her and she stumbles up to eat and drink and I am woken by the BIGGEST SNORE in the history of the world from John.

Then last night I dreamt Kristy had moved into a second floor apartment in a five story building to go to university and John and I went to visit her and give her a moving in present. When we got there we were stood in the small kitchen when there a LOUD bang and dust fell from the ceiling. We ran outside to see what it was and, looking back at the building, all the plaster and some of the wood keeping it in place was falling off the upper stories and it looked like one corner of the top story had collapsed. The front wall was leaning back at an angle on the upper stories. We dashed in and yelling we should grab as much as Kristys stuff as we could. When we got back out er had grabbed wierd stuff like dirty washing and so on so I told Kristy to stay where she was as I realised that we had left Kris's notes for university etc so she wouldn't loosed her work. John and I dashed back up and grabbed all the papers and folders we could find and then I realised we needed to grab her computer too so John grabbed it and popped it outside the apartment door and came back for more. While looking for paperwork, we heard a sound outside the window and leaning out, there was a man on the fourth floor who was trapped. My nextdoor neighbours were leaning out the third floor window and telling him to slide down the leaning front wall so they could catch him. They did so but it required a load of struggling to get him back in and I couldn't reach to help. We finally had armfuls of stuff and were dashing out only the computer was gone. After frantically searching we headed down and dumped all the stuff by Kris and I decided to go back in to find the computer. By this time, men where climbing over the building placing charges to "put it out of it's misery" so I knew we were against the clock. Another guy came in with me and yelled he would check the roof and dashed off. However, I found it tucked under the stairs so yelled up that I had found it and dashed out so I could see the roof. Looking up the man was arguing with some of the workers and as we watched the charges went off and we were in a cloud of debris and dust. Once the cloud cleared everyone was gone except me and I was stood in an apocolyptic scene with nothing but debris and broken buildings around. And then the demented snorer struck again and I woke up.

Now the first dream is traceable - the chase with the map is from GTA - the map is exactly the same at the GTA map that JJ is playing quite a bit of at the moment. Peter Petreilli is due to watching Heroes at the moment and I suspect that the abuse that poor Thai suffered is because JJ is working for the RSPCA at the moment so keeps sending me artiles from them showing dogs treated in the most appaulling way that are really upsetting.

The second I assume is because my sister is coming up to exams and will soon be off to university and I was only thinking the other day that, wonderful though it will be for her, I will miss her as I am helping her with revision at the moment so seeing her once of twice a week which is nice. The collapsing building I have no idea about, though I think the apocalyptic seance is because Mark and JJ went out drinking the other night and when I picked him up the night morning they made me watch the alternate ending to I am Legend.

Yesterday, we spent the day gardening - the idea being we would get the garden looking respectable and then invite people round from a barbeque tonight - HOWEVER we seriously underestimated the amount of work that needing doing on the garden! So we will probably have that barbeque later in the year...

WEEK ONE

  • Change in BMI : -.18
  • Center of Gravity : L48.8 R51.2
  • Age : 27 (-7)
  • Change in weight : -1lb
  • Time Spent : 1hr 23 mins mins
  • Total Time : 6hr 25 mins

Well, it is the end of week one and, annoyingly having done so well over the last couple of days, my sister came round yesterday so we had MaccyD's and then Pizza in the evening so I added 2 lbs, giving an overall weight loss of 1 lb. I have consistently lowered my Wii age - however it seems that it cycles between above my age and under so we will have to see if this evens out over time. As I said before, I do think that items are unlocked too quickly (I have pretty much unlocked all the exercises with only the reps to be unlocked now) and I and JJ find it a bit annoying that you can't seem to use kilos instead of lbs.

Here are a series of graphs defining my progress:

Other than that I am quite pleased - there are some exercises I am not sure of just yet but I am sure I will get there eventually. Now excuse me while I go to have a shower...
